TOWER MUSIC – DAY 1 – CATALOGUED!

It took a few extra weeks to actually get started but I finished cataloging the first day’s samples from May/June’s trip to the Eiffel Tower.

That would be roughly 828 raw samples yielding roughly 170 chosen sounds. And that was from a short day; we had preliminary meetings with the Eiffel Tower administration on Day 1, and only started at around noon.

With 10 more recording days to sort through, I’m still refining how to become more efficient, but I’ve noticed my work on Day 2 progressing at a quicker rate. Still, this will take months to finish.

There is lots of listening left to do before I can even begin to start composing, but I am working on it and will post the progress as it happens.
